1 package of onion soup mix
2 chicken bouillon cubes
1⁄2 cup balsamic vinegar
2 (28 ounce) cans of chopped tomatoes
1 (48 ounces) can of V8 vegetable juice
1 lemon

How To Make Cabbage Soup For Weight Loss

This recipe is super easy to make, and all you need to get started is a large stock pot, a sharp knife with a cutting board, and the ingredients listed above.

First chop the cabbage, onions, green bell peppers, shallots, and cellery into bite size pieces before placing them into the stock pot. Then place 6 crushed cloves of garlic into the pot along with 2 chicken bouilion cubes, 1 package of onion soup mix, and half a cup of balsamic vinigar which is an optional. Then it is just 2 (28 ounce) cans of chopped tomatoes, 1 (48 ounce) can of V8 vegetable juice, the juice from 1 freshly squeezed lemon, and a little bit of pepper added for taste.

Bring all these ingredients to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 1 hour before serving.
